Mobility is a constantly evolving sector that responds quickly to the changes occurring in society, industry and labour. It is very likely that vehicles, infrastructures and mobility services will evolve in the next coming years to contrast the impacts of climate changes, and to take advantage of the opportunities of the telecommunication innovation (5G).

Future mobility will be characterized by cleaner (electric or hybrid) and more performing vehicles (connected and autonomous driving), but also by services customized upon the new travel behaviour and needs, accessible for all.

Starting from the current trends, the webinar will give an overview of the challenges that engineers are facing in designing and planning sustainable mobility solutions, with some examples of the projects undergoing at the Politecnico di Milano.
