The protagonist of this meeting, curated by Luca Monica, professor of Architectural And Urban Design, is Camillo Boito (1836-1914), architect, writer and first professor of the Civil Architecture section of the Istituto Tecnico Superiore di Milano, the future Politecnico, from 1865 to 1908.

“Maestri e Allievi” (Masters and Students) is a series of events by the Historical Library of the Politecnico di Milano that aims to investigate the figures of professors and students who distinguished themselves in the fields of engineering, architecture, and design, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Famous protagonists, but also personalities and unpublished pages, which tell the story of a University that has always been projected towards the future.
