More and more students join ENHANCE Tandems, the project that allows you to learn a foreign language and make new contacts within the university community of ENHANCE!!!

👏On November 25, 2021, the Second Language Tandem Kick-off meeting was held. The event was attended by 165 students and employees from all ENHANCE partner universities.

During the meeting, Grzegorz Robak, the ENHANCE core officer at WUT presented the scope of work that was necessary to launch the project, its main goals and benefits for participants. Joanna Kret, the language tandem coordinator and Dorota Chromińska, the proxy for language tandems at the WUT Foreign Language Centre presented this project addressing the most important aspects such as:

✅What is a language tandem?
✅What does language development look like using this method?
✅Who can take part in language tandems?
✅How many people have already joined the project since the start of registration?
✅What are the detailed goals and benefits of participating in the project?
✅What languages can you learn in tandems?

💻After presenting the project key issues, the language tandem coordinator presented Webex as the platform for online meetings. Via the WEBEX platform project participants will be able to find tandem partners, establish contact with them and arrange online meetings.

🥳During this event, there was also an entertainment element which was a language and culture quiz. The project participants could show how well they know the culture and language of the countries of our partner universities.

After the kick-off meeting, all project participants will be registered on the Webex platform.
