The Gianfranco Ferré Research Centre has been established to collect the huge heritage left by the fashion designer who graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 1969. Today the Ferré family decided to donate to our university the archives and headquarters in Via Tortona designed by Franco Raggi. The centre becomes part of our Historical Archives system and will be coordinated by the Department of Design.

The Foundation gathers more than 150,000 documents and artefacts, almost entirely catalogued in a digital database: sketches, technical drawings, photos, clothes and accessories, books, magazines, films, press reviews, writings, lessons and notes by the designer.
