The accelerated melting of glaciers due to global warming implies, in continental areas, limitations on the availability of water in river basins.

Daniele Bocchiola, professor of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrology, will guide us to discover the state of the art of global glacialism and the related impacts on the availability of water resources for civil uses, also illustrating some studies conducted by the researchers of the Climate-Lab of the Politecnico di Milano.
