Marco Casadei was the first visually impaired student to graduate in Aerospace Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.

In an interview, he told us his academic path and his life as a student, as a demonstration to everybody – especially other young people with similar disabilities – that no matter how hard it is, you can successfully complete a course at a technical-scientific university like the Politecnico.

It was also an opportunity to get to know our service Multi Chance Poli Team, part of the Equal Opportunities Unit, dedicated on a daily basis to making it possible to participate fully in university, accompanying students with disabilities and DSA throughout their careers, from orientation to post-graduate work placement.
