The ABC Lab System focuses on the three characteristic themes of the department: Architecture, Construction Engineering and Built Environment.

The laboratories are a reflection of the expertise found in the Department and seek to respond the current needs of the market and research. They deal with a very broad range of specific topics: from innovative construction systems to textiles for architecture, from tests on the energy performance of buildings to the mapping of built heritage using cutting-edge technology, as far as the development of protocols and tools to support architectural design in all its phases.
