Not only entertainment: the augmented reality and virtual reality technologies can be also used in daily life to enhance the autonomy and social inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorders.
With the 5A project the researchers from I3lab of our Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, together with the experts from the Fondazione Sacra Famiglia Onlus and the Associazione La Nostra Famiglia, aim at implementing innovative interactive applications that will help people with ASD to move more easily in urban spaces and, in particular, in metro stations.
