Il progetto HOMEE (Heritage Opportunities/threats within Mega-Events in Europe), di cui il Dipartimento di Architettura e Studi Urbani (DAStU – Politecnico di Milano) è capofila, è stato premiato agli European Heritage Awards, i riconoscimenti della Commissione Europea e Europa Nostra per valorizzare le migliori iniziative nel campo della conservazione del patrimonio culturale.

Il progetto HOMEE ha esplorato le relazioni tra la progettazione e realizzazione di mega-eventi e la protezione e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale, elaborando linee guida in grado di supportare decisori e attori del patrimonio ad affrontare le sfide emergenti in quest’ambito.

The HOMEE Project (Heritage Opportunities/threats within Mega-Events in Europe), led by the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Politecnico di Milano has been awarded with the European Heritage Award, Europe’s top honour in the heritage field.

The project explored the relationships between the planning and implementation of mega-events and the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, generating guidelines to help decision-makers and heritage actors face emerging challenges in this field.
