The fifth Neighbourhood Hub against food waste has been inaugurated in via Santa Croce 15. The new point of collection and storage of food surpluses from various stores of large retailers is added to the hubs already active in Gallaratese, Isola, Lambrate and inside the agri-food market in Milan.

The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Milano – Food Policy area, Associazione IBVA, Municipality 1, @Fondazione Cariplo, Assolombarda, Politecnico di Milano with the Food Sustainability Observatory. The hub has been realized thanks to the contribution of BCC Milano. Fair and green operation of the collection and delivery of products will be ensured by the partnership with SoDe – Social Delivery, the social, solidarity and sustainable delivery service.
