Nelle diverse sedi del Politecnico trovate 39 nuovi contenitori dove non solo la comunità politecnica, ma tutta la cittadinanza, potrà gettare i piccoli rifiuti RAEE della categoria R4. Si tratta, ad esempio, di cuffie, smartphone, sigarette elettroniche, calcolatrici, pile e accumulatori esausti, come batterie stilo, batteria a bottone, batterie al litio di pc portatili.

Come è nato il progetto di questi contenitori? Dal workshop curriculare “RAEECYCLE BINS” promosso dal Politecnico di Milano in collaborazione con il Centro di coordinamento RAEE e Raffaella Mangiarotti. Il concept vincitore è stato “T45”, pensato per la raccolta RAEE in luoghi di transito altamente trafficati come la metropolitana.

Un progetto possibile grazie alla convenzione con il Centro di Coordinamento RAEE, il Cdcnpa – Centro di Coordinamento Nazionale Pile e Accumulatori, Amsa e il Comune di Milano.

In the various locations you can find 39 new containers where not only the Politecnico community, but all citizens, will be able to throw away the small WEEE waste of the R4 category. These are, for example, headphones, smartphones, electronic cigarettes, calculators, spent batteries and accumulators, such as stylus batteries, button batteries, laptop lithium batteries.

How did the design of these containers come about? From the curricular workshop “RAEECYCLE BINS” promoted by the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the WEEE Coordination Center and Raffaella Mangiarotti. The winning concept was “T45”, designed for the collection of WEEE in highly trafficked transit places such as the subway.

The project is the result of an agreement with the WEEE Coordination Center, the National Coordination Center for Batteries and Accumulators, Amsa and the Municipality of Milan.
