Marco Belfi e Pietro Cetto, dottorandi in Ingegneria meccanica al Politecnico di Milano, insieme a un team composto da studenti della Yanshan University, hanno vinto una medaglia d’oro e una d’argento alla China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2024 (CICSIC).

Il progetto “Digital Intelligence Empowerment – Green, Intelligent and High Quality Bar Production” si è aggiudicato la medaglia d’oro, mentre il progetto “Intelligent Billets Production (IBP) – Full Process Online Intelligent Control” ha vinto la medaglia d’argento.

Entrambi i progetti, dopo varie fasi di valutazione, sono stati tra i 150 progetti più innovativi che hanno partecipato alla fase finale della competizione, svoltasi presso la Jiaotong University di Shanghai dal 12 al 15 ottobre. Di questi 150 progetti, i migliori 50 sono stati premiati con la medaglia d’oro, mentre i rimanenti hanno ricevuto la medaglia d’argento.

Hanno partecipato alla competizione progetti provenienti da 5406 università di oltre 150 paesi di tutto il mondo.

Marco Belfi and Pietro Cetto, Ph.D candidates in Mechanical engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, together with a team of students from Yanshan University, won a gold and a silver medal at the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2024 (CICSIC).

The project “Digital Intelligence Empowerment – Green, Intelligent and High Quality Bar Production” was awarded the gold medal, while the project “Intelligent Billets Production (IBP) – Full Process Online Intelligent Control” won the silver medal.

Both projects successfully passed several evaluation stages, ranking among the 150 most innovative projects, which then proceeded to the final stage of the competition held at Jiaotong University in Shanghai from October 12 to 15. Out of these 150 projects, the top 50 were awarded the gold medal, while the remaining ones received the silver medal.

Projects from 5406 universities across 153 countries around the world participated in the competition.
