Filippo Trevisi ha ricevuto l’Excellent Young Wind Doctor Award della European Academy of Wind Energy: il più importante riconoscimento europeo per tesi di dottorato sull’energia eolica.

Filippo, che ha completato il suo percorso di ricerca in Ingegneria Aerospaziale al Politecnico di Milano, è stato premiato per una nuova teoria sui ventoplani, sistemi innovativi per la produzione di energia dal vento, e per i suoi contributi fondamentali alla progettazione dei sistemi airborne wind energy, al loro controllo e alla loro stabilità del volo.

È la prima volta che una ricerca svolta in un’università italiana riceve questo premio.

Filippo Trevisi has received the Excellent Young Wind Doctor Award from the European Academy of Wind Energy: the most prestigious European recognition for doctoral theses on wind energy.

Filippo, who earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, was awarded for a new theory on windplanes, innovative systems for wind energy generation, and his fundamental contributions to the design of airborne wind energy systems, their control, and flight stability.

This is the first time that research conducted at an Italian university has received this award.
