“Open, green and transparent”: these are the key concepts of the new Bovisa-Goccia Masterplan, presented today at Politecnico di Milano by Renzo Piano; a project that will expand the Bovisa Campus, creating a science park/innovation hub and areas set aside for services to students, businesses and citizens.

The DNA of the Bovisa-Goccia area, with its old factories and the 24-hectare woodland that will be preserved, developed and opened up to citizens, will be respected; the goal is to reconnect “the Goccia” to the city and the surrounding region, making it a lively place to be, accessible, open to the city and primed for the exchange of ideas and functions.
