Il Dipartimento di Energia del Politecnico di Milano coordina il progetto ECCO-2050 (Smart Energy in Cities and Communities for 2050), guidato dal Prof. Emanuele Martelli, in collaborazione con il Politecnico di Torino, l’Università degli Studi di Parma e l’Università degli Studi di Ferrara.

L’obiettivo è sviluppare soluzioni avanzate per progettare e gestire sistemi energetici integrati, supportando smart cities e comunità energetiche nel percorso verso gli obiettivi di decarbonizzazione previsti entro il 2050.

Il gruppo di ricerca del Politecnico di Milano è impegnato nello sviluppo di MY-AESOPT, un software avanzato per la pianificazione strategica degli investimenti per l’efficientamento e la decarbonizzazione di distretti energetici, comuni e città. Attualmente MY-AESOPT è operativo su due casi studio: Vigolzone (PC) e Cremona; l’obiettivo è creare un modello replicabile in altre città e comunità energetiche verso una transizione energetica sostenibile ed efficace.

The Department of Energy – Politecnico di Milano coordinates the ECCO-2050 (Smart Energy in Cities and Communities for 2050) project, led by Prof. Emanuele Martelli, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino, the University of Parma, and the University of Ferrara.

The project aims to develop advanced solutions for the design and management of integrated energy systems, supporting smart cities and energy communities on their path toward the decarbonization targets set for 2050.

The research group at the Politecnico di Milano is developing MY-AESOPT, advanced software for the strategic planning of investments for the efficiency and decarbonization of energy districts, municipalities, and cities. MY-AESOPT is currently being applied in two case studies—Vigolzone and Cremona—with the goal of creating a model that can be replicated in other cities and energy communities to support a sustainable and effective energy transition.
