Gender equality in Politecnico di Milano programmes in engineering is still a long way off, with less than 35% of female students enrolled.

This is why one of the actions of the POP – Pari Opportunità Politecniche (Politecnico Equal Opportunities) strategic programme is GIRLS@POLIMI: 13 scholarships donated by three companies (Intesa Sanpaolo and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Snam, BCG in Italia) and a private donor to support as many female students.
