“Spesa sospesa a Nolo” has begun. This solidarity initiative was created within the Nolo Social District and is supported by Radio NoLo, with the help of a group of volunteers and staff from Off Campus Nolo under the Politecnico di Milano. Each week, 20 packages of groceries will be distributed to vulnerable subjects in this neighbourhood to the north of Loreto thanks to donations from residents in the area and workers at the Viale Monza/Via Crespi Municipal Market in Milan (Mercato Crespi).

The initiative has a twofold objective: enhancing the economy of small neighbourhood shops while calling greater attention to economically disadvantaged people.
