Inaugurato il terzo Hub di Quartiere contro lo spreco alimentare al quartiere Gallaratese di Milano, con due novità: oltre alla raccolta e redistribuzione delle eccedenze, porta con sé anche un market solidale e attività educative e formative per donne e minori in difficoltà.

Il nuovo hub va ad aggiungersi ai due già attivi nei quartieri Isola e Lambrate, che garantiscono il recupero e la redistribuzione di circa 20 tonnellate di cibo al mese (40.000 pasti equivalenti).

Il modello logistico negli Hub di Quartiere è elaborato dal Politecnico di Milano.

The third Neighbourhood Hub against food wastage has opened in Milan, in Gallaratese neighbourhood, with two new features: in addition to the collection and redistribution of surpluses, it also brings with it a fair trade market and educational and training activities for women and children in need.

The new hub joins the two already active in the Isola and Lambrate neighbourhoods, which guarantee the recovery and redistribution of around 20 tonnes of food per month (equal to 40,000 meals).
