Presentati all’IoT Lab del Campus Bovisa Durando i risultati dell’hackathon “Open Lab Smart Home: Time to Hack!” lanciato lo scorso ottobre: un evento che ha coinvolto studenti e giovani appassionati di domotica che hanno avuto l’opportunità di lavorare con i dispostivi intelligenti – dagli assistenti vocali ai sistemi di monitoraggio e sorveglianza fino a termostati e controlli accessi – per creare un ambiente connesso e sviluppare casi d’uso dimostrativi.

L’IoT Lab, promotore dell’iniziativa, facendo leva sul know-how del gruppo di lavoro, in collaborazione con le aziende partner, ha esplorato diverse strade per dimostrare l’interoperabilità tra i vari ecosistemi dei singoli vendor.

The IoT Lab at the Bovisa Durando Campus presented the results of the hackathon “Open Lab Smart Home: Time to Hack!” launched last October: an event involving students and young home automation enthusiasts who had the opportunity to work with smart devices – from voice assistants to monitoring and surveillance systems to thermostats and access controls – to create a connected environment and develop test cases.

The IoT Lab, which promoted the initiative, drawing on the know-how of the working group, in collaboration with partner companies, explored different ways to demonstrate inter-operability between the various ecosystems of individual vendors.
