Come ricicleremo la plastica e quali nuovi materiali utilizzeremo? Quali tecnologie occorrerà mettere in campo per supportare la transizione energetica? Quali possibilità verranno offerte dall’applicazione del machine learning in settori come la medicina e lo sport? Che ruolo avrà la Luna nelle nuove avventure scientifiche e tecnologiche?

Queste e tante altre domande ci vengono in mente se pensiamo ai futuri progressi della scienza e della tecnologia: proviamo a dare alcune risposte insieme ai docenti, dottorandi e ricercatori del Politecnico di Milano che, in occasione della prima edizione del Festival dell’Ingegneria, ci guidano alla scoperta delle “Visioni Politecniche”…per esplorare oggi alcuni possibili scenari futuri!

How will we recylce plastic and what new materials will we use? What technologies will be used to support the energy transition? What possibilities will be offered by the application of machine learning in areas such as medicine and sport? What role will the Moon play in the new scientific and technological adventures?

These and many other questions spring to mind when we think of future progress in science and technology: we will try to give some answers together with professors, PhD students and researchers of the Politecnico di Milano who, on the occasion of the Festival dell’Ingegneria, will guide us to discover the “polytechnic visions”…to explore today some possible future scenarios!
