Laura Riva, former PhD student and current post-doc researcher at the OSCM laboratory (Organic Synthesis, Catalysis, and Materials Laboratory) at the Politecnico di Milano’s Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering, has won the “Carta Tecnologia Futura” scholarship, an award for the most deserving thesis related to the paper sector promoted by ATICELCA (Italian Cellulose and Paper Technical Association), in partnership with the RDM Group.

Riva won the award thanks to her thesis titled “Nanocellulose: Production ad applications of an innovative eco-sustainable resource”, which had the main objective of producing, from cellulose a new material of significant added value: nanocellulose.
