Francesca Berti, ricercatrice al Dipartimento di Dipartimento di Chimica, Materiali e Ingegneria Chimica “G. Natta” del Politecnico di Milano, ha ricevuto il Premio L’Oréal-UNESCO “Per le Donne e la Scienza”. Il suo progetto affronta il tema del “Design innovativo di stent prodotti mediante manifatture additive per patologie cardiache congenite”.

In questa edizione sono state assegnate sei borse di studio del valore di 20.000 euro ciascuna ad altrettante ricercatrici under 35, sulla base dell’eccellenza riconosciuta ai loro progetti in tutti i campi della scienza e della tecnologia.

Francesca Berti, researcher at the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “G. Natta” of the Politecnico di Milano, has been awarded the L’Oréal-UNESCO Prize “For Women in Science”. Her project addresses the theme of “Innovative design of stents produced by additive manufacturing for congenital heart diseases”.

In this edition six scholarships worth 20,000 euros each were awarded to as many researchers under 35, based on the excellence recognized to their projects in all fields of science and technology.
