From 16 to 21 April, at Fiera Milano Rho, the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano will not only bring the “beautiful” and the “well-made” back to a unique stage for international importance, but will do so with a new and challenging out of the box approach. Evolution and innovation will be the key words, with more than 1,900 exhibitors, including 600 young talents under 35 and 22 design schools.
And the Politecnico could not miss the event. With the research project “Salone-come-ecosistema” we will investigate this unique phenomenon in the world from a scientific point of view: the Milano Design Week. The initiative is promoted by Federlegno Arredi Eventi – Salone del Mobile.Milano, created by the Department of Design in collaboration with the School of Design and the Municipality of Milan.
It is the first step towards the future Salone del Mobile Observatory, a permanent research platform dedicated to identifying opportunities and challenges affecting Salone del Mobile.Milano and the city.
