Stefano Corazza, dottorando del corso di Structural, Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering, ha vinto il Giovanni Solari Thesis Award per la sua tesi di laurea magistrale “Mechanical modeling of stranded cables and assessment of their self-damping properties for aeolian vibrations applications”.

Chiara Gazzola ha vinto l’Acoustics – Young Researchers Award dell’International Sound Biennal Le Mans Sonore per la sua tesi di dottorato sulla progettazione di un altoparlante piezoelettrico MEMS per applicazioni in-ear.

Two important awards come to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Polimi!

Stefano Corazza, PhD student in Structural, Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering, has won the Giovanni Solari Thesis Award for his Master of Science’s thesis “Mechanical modeling of stranded cables and assessment of their self-damping properties for aeolian vibrations applications”.

Chiara Gazzola has won the Acoustics – Young Researchers Award at the International Sound Biennal Le Mans Sonore for her doctoral thesis on the design of a piezoelectric MEMS loudspeaker for in-ear applications.
