Congratulations to Swathi Madhi, Luca Gregorini e Micaela Malusà, alumni of the Specializing Master in Lighting Design & Technology organized by POLI.design, who won the LIT 2020 Emerging Lighting Designer of the Year award at the LIT Lighting Design Awards.

Their project about lighting designing for an office located in Stockholm (Sweden) takes inspiration from the Scandinavian architecture and the natural phenomenon of Northern lights, offering to the visitor a lighting that guides him through various zones in the building, characterized by different activities. With colours and sinous lines, the lighting imitates natural light to bring the “exterior” inside to the places that do not receive natural light throughout the year.

The students were guided in the eleboration of the project by proff. Carlo D’Alesio and Giovanna Piccinno.
