The protagonist of this meeting, curated by Edoardo Rovida, professor of Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering, is Italo Bertolini (1899-1986), a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and professor of Machine Construction at Politecnico di Milano from 1945 to 1974.

“Maestri e Allievi” (Masters and Students) is a series of events by the Historical Library of the Politecnico di Milano that aims to investigate the figures of professors and students who distinguished themselves in the fields of engineering, architecture, and design, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Famous protagonists, but also personalities and unpublished pages, which tell the story of a University that has always been projected towards the future.
